The Messmate is a quality hard eucalypt timber, in the photos you are looking at the natural timber colour which has been sealed with a clear varnish to enhance the stunning natural grain variations in the timber (which also means no maintenance). The drawers come assembled and complete, they are properly made with solid drawer frames, dovetail joins and full extension metal runners which allow the drawers to open and close smoothly.
