Using RenoExchange is as easy as eating a whole packet of Tim Tams in one sitting (or so we like to think!). However, the following is a little refresher of some tips and tricks on how to get the best out of your searches on RenoExchange.
At RenoExchange we know that the kitchen is one of, if not, the most commonly renovated rooms in the house (along with the bathroom).
We also know that there are plenty of different ways to search for products on RenoExchange.
We’ve created this step by step guide to help you navigate your way around searching what you need for your kitchen renovation or build.
First up, you need to establish what kind of a build or renovation you are completing:
Are you looking to:
- Renovate your whole kitchen?
- Makeover specific areas of your kitchen?
- Replace or buy new appliances?
Depending on which kind of build or renovation you are doing will impact upon the different searched you are doing.
Checkout our tips and tricks below on how to use RenoExchange to search for custom kitchens, products such as splashbacks or benchtops for replacement or a new appliance!
Whole Kitchen Renovation
To start your search, on the home page select “Kitchens” as a Type, and then “Custom Kitchens” as a Sub Type. You also have the ability to search by brand and by state.
Searching like this will bring up every Custom Kitchen Retailer in Australia.
To further narrow your search use the "Refine Search By Function". Here you have the option to narrow your search by Brand, Look, Style, Price and Location.
Use RenoExchange as a lookbook as you search through all the amazing products on offer.
And don’t forget, you can add items to your wishlist to complete your lookbook! Browse through all of the stunning images and custom kitchens on offer, and click into any that really appeal to you and you would like to know further details.
If you’re not looking to rip out the entire kitchen but simply give one area a bit of a facelift, then a kitchen makeover is for you.
Searching for products such as bench tops and splashbacks is a little different from searching a custom built kitchen.
Follow these easy steps to get the best out of your product search.
This kind of search requires a specific product search, so instead of typing in kitchens, you can type in the specific product.
At the top level of search, you can be as specific as you like and search a Splashback by brand and state.
You can also further refine your search by Size, Colour, Material, Price and Location.
This will allow you to find exactly what you’re looking for without having to search through hundreds of pages of results.
Replacing or Buying a New Product
In the case that you just need to replace an old dishwasher or buy a brand new state of the art fridge, RenoExchange can help you search for those products too.
If you are looking for a new fridge, it is extremely simple to search for one.
You can also search at a product level for any appliances or kitchen extras such as sinks and bins.
On the home page, you can select “Fridges & Freezers” in the Type field and then refine your search again by which Sub Type you are after e.g. Bar Fridge, French Door with Bottom Mount Freezers etc
If you have selected the type of Fridge or Freezer you are after, for example a “French Door with Bottom Mount Freezer”, you then have the ability to refine your search by Size, Capacity, Colour, Energy Rating, Installation and Location.
