A watermelon pizza can be served as a healthy snack, a dish to take along to a party or or barbecue and be served as a delectable after dinner dessert. Providing a refreshing, slice of bliss, it makes the perfect Spring and Summer time treat to enjoy with family and friends.
Watermelon Pizza Shopping List
(Makes 4 Pizzas)
- Half a Watermelon
- 3 Kiwi Fruits
- 2 Passion Fruits
- 2 Red Apples
- 1 Ripe Mango
- 1 Punnet of Raspberries
- 1 Punnet of Blueberries
- Fresh Mint Sprigs
- Dried Coconut Chips
- Sprinkling Chia Seeds
- Melting Chocolate
- Honey to drizzle
- Dusting of Icing Sugar
Watermelon Pizza Preparation
Step 1: Wash all fruit and pat dry with paper towel.
Step 2: Using a sharp knife cut a thick slice of watermelon about 3cm thick.
Step 3: Using a spatula, spread an even layer of honey over the pick part of watermelon slice. Leave the edges of your pizza crust honey free to avoid any stickiness.
Step 4: Thinly slice your kiwis and apples. Peel Kiwi Fruits and thinly slice them as circles. Thinly slice apples into circles and cut in half.
Step 5: Layer your fresh fruit on top as you please. You can add as little or as many toppings as you like.

- Raspberries & Icing Sugar (Roll raspberries around in icing sugar in a dish prior to placing on watermelon).
- Mango & Chocolate (Melt Choc as per cooking instructions and drizzle over).
