Our story begins in 2014 when our founder Jon Warren was shopping for new pendant lights for his house. After spending most of a weekend driving around Western Sydney to a bunch of retail stores, Jon realised that most of the lighting products were the same and that no one seemed to have quite what he was looking for.
Jon turned to online shopping and while there were a collection of great looking sites out there most that Jon tried offered poor service.
And so, Chic Chandeliers was born. Our vision is quite simple;

Shipping & Delivery Policy
Shipping is FREE on all orders to customers within Australia.
We don't want to mess around with fine print and extra charges, we like things to be simple and easy.
As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorised your credit card for the purchase.
As soon as we receive your order we automatically check to confirm that your order is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on back-order or unavailable we will void the pre-authorisation and reach out to you via e-mail to see if alternate arrangements can be made.
If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days) we will process the charges and get to work preparing your order for shipment.
If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card it will ship within five business days from the date of your order.
We will send you shipping confirmation within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.
If you do not receive shipping confirmation from us within six business days of your order feel free to follow up with us at email@example.com
Please be aware that our products are made specifically for the Australian market. This means that they require a 240V electrical system to function correctly.
Our products have generally not been certified for use with other countries electrical safety standards but all of our products are certified to Australian standards.
We will happily ship our fantastic products to international customers. Due to the extremely wide variety of product dimensions we will provide an up to date shipping price quote for you on request.
If you are happy with our shipping quote we will prepare an order and payment though our ultra secure online payment gateway.
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery.
If your item(s) do arrived damaged please send photos to firstname.lastname@example.org, then visit our Easy Returns page and lodge your return claim online.
Exchange, Returns, and Refunds Policy
You can return your order, anytime, for any reason. Yep, you read that right.
We realise that there is a certain risk for you the customer when you order products online.
Our Easy Returns policy is quite simple. Not happy with your purchase for any reason? We will take it back. No questions asked. We want you to be able to shop for lighting in the absolute certainty that if what you get isn't what you expected, you are completely protected.
If you are reading this before purchasing here's a handy tip, most people need to return products because they ordered the wrong size. Here's how it works:
There is no time limit on when change of mind returns can be made. Products can be returned either for a full refund or a 110% store credit
For change of mind returns you will be charged for all shipping costs associated with the order. That is both the cost of shipping to you and the return shipping. We will do this by deducting the shipping amount from your refund
Returns for damaged, faulty or other warranty reasons will be at no cost to you. If you have a damaged or faulty product please read on below.

Making a Warranty or Damaged Claim
All of our products are covered by a 2 year warranty with the exception of some LED products which are covered by a 5 year warranty.
If your item arrives and it is damaged when you open the box the first thing we need you to do is to take a pic on your phone or camera and email it to email@example.com. Then call us on 1300 85 12 02.
If your faulty product is a ceiling light, chandelier, pendant light, indoor wall light or outdoor light, please email a copy of your proof of installation by a licensed electrician to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be in touch asap regarding your replacement products.
